Description

A refreshing blend of lemon, cucumber, strawberries, and mint to elevate plain water into a beautiful and hydrating drink.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 liters (about 8 1/2 cups) filtered water, chilled
  • 1 medium lemon, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 large cucumber, thinly sliced (or 1 small cucumber)
  • 68 medium strawberries, hulled and thinly sliced
  • 1012 fresh mint leaves, gently torn
  • Sparkling water (optional)
  • 12 thin lime slices (optional)
  • 1 tsp grated fresh ginger (optional)
  • 12 teaspoons honey or agave (optional)
  • Basil or rosemary (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash all fruit and herbs thoroughly. Thinly slice the lemon, cucumber, and strawberries. Gently tear the mint leaves to release aroma.
  2. Add the lemon slices, cucumber slices, and strawberry slices to a clean glass pitcher. Tuck the mint leaves in between fruit layers.
  3. Pour chilled filtered water over the fruit and herbs in the pitcher.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight for stronger flavor.
  5. Gently stir before pouring over ice and garnish with extra mint or a lemon wheel if desired.

Notes

Best within the first 24–48 hours for optimal flavor. Do not leave the infused pitcher at room temperature for longer than 2 hours.
