Instructions
- Toast the bread: Place the slice in a toaster or under a broiler until golden and crisp at the edges (about 2-4 minutes).
- Prep avocado: Halve and pit the avocado. Scoop the flesh into a bowl and mash with a fork.
- Season: Stir in lemon juice, olive oil (if using), salt, and pepper. Taste and adjust.
- Assemble: Spread the mashed avocado evenly over the toast. Add chosen toppings.
- Finish: Drizzle with a tiny bit more olive oil or balsamic glaze for extra flavor. Serve immediately.
