- 8 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup cooked potatoes, diced
- 4 strips of bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1 cup cheese (cheddar or your choice), grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil or butter for cooking
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Season with salt and pepper.
- In an oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil or butter over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until translucent.
- Add the diced potatoes and crumbled bacon to the skillet, mixing well.
- Pour the egg mixture over the potato and bacon mixture. Sprinkle the top with grated cheese.
- Cook on the stovetop for 2-3 minutes until the edges set, then transfer to the preheated oven.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes until the frittata is set and lightly golden on top.
- Allow to cool slightly, then slice and serve.
Notes
Avoid overmixing the eggs for a light texture. Check for doneness by gently shaking the pan; if the center is firm, it’s ready!
