Description

A playful, nostalgic twist on the classic Rice Krispie treat, infused with ripe banana and vanilla for a delightful snack.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup banana cream pudding mix
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sliced bananas (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  2. Add the mini marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the banana cream pudding mix and milk, whisking until smooth.
  4. Once the marshmallow mixture is smooth, remove from heat and stir in the pudding mixture and vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually mix in the Rice Krispies cereal, stirring until evenly coated.
  6. If using, gently fold in sliced bananas.
  7. Spread the mixture into a greased pan and press down firmly.
  8. Allow to cool at room temperature before cutting into squares. Enjoy your tasty twist on a classic treat!

Notes

Melt slowly over low heat to prevent scorching the marshmallows. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature, or up to 7 days in the refrigerator.
