Ingredients

- 6.5 oz (184 g) Alouette cheese with herbs, or another soft herbed cheese spread
- 1/2 cup tomatoes, finely chopped (about 90 g)
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, finely chopped (about 5–7 g)
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinaigrette glaze or reduction (about 30 mL)
- Pita chips, crackers, or thinly sliced baguette, for serving
Instructions
- Chill the soft cheese briefly for about 10 minutes.
- Spread the soft cheese evenly over a large round plate, leaving a 1/4-inch border.
- Sprinkle and gently press the chopped tomatoes over the cheese in a single layer.
- Scatter the chopped basil over the tomatoes.
- Drizzle balsamic glaze over the whole plate.
- Arrange pita chips, crackers, or baguette slices around the plate and serve immediately.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3–4 days. Use firm tomatoes to avoid excessive juiciness.
