- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for crust)
- 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened (16 oz total)
- 1 cup granulated sugar (for filling)
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups chopped tart apples (like Granny Smith)
- 1 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press into the bottom of the prepared pan for the crust.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar, eggs (one at a time), and vanilla, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in chopped apples, then pour over the crust, smoothing the top.
- Drizzle caramel sauce over the top and swirl gently with a knife.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly. Cool completely on a wire rack.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting into bars.
