- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups apples, peeled and diced
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, 1/2 cup sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Fold in the diced apples and ground cinnamon gently to avoid breaking down the apples too much.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the baking pan. Drizzle with caramel sauce.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the center is set—check doneness by lightly shaking the pan; the center should be slightly jiggly but not liquid.
- Let cool, then chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before slicing into bars and serving.
Notes
Allow ample cooling time to enhance the overall taste. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 5-7 days.
