Description
Quick and portable Chicken Caesar Wraps, filled with tender chicken, crisp romaine, and creamy Caesar dressing.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or chopped (about 280–300 g)
- 4 large flour tortillas or wraps
- 2 cups romaine lettuce, chopped (about 2–3 hearts)
- 1/2 cup Caesar dressing (about 120 ml)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (about 50 g)
- 1/4 cup croutons (about 30 g), optional
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- If using leftover or rotisserie chicken, shred or chop into bite-sized pieces. If cooking fresh, season chicken breasts with salt and pepper and pan-sear over medium-high heat for 5–6 minutes per side until cooked through. Let rest, then slice or shred.
- Warm tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat or wrap in foil and warm in a 350°F (175°C) oven for 5–8 minutes.
- In a bowl, combine the shredded chicken, Caesar dressing, and grated Parmesan. Fold gently to maintain chicken texture.
- Toss the chopped romaine with the chicken mixture, then gently fold in croutons if using.
- Lay a warm tortilla flat, spoon about a quarter of the filling into the center, fold edges in, and roll tightly.
- For a crisp exterior, toast the assembled wrap seam-side down in a skillet for 1–2 minutes per side until golden.
- Slice each wrap in half and garnish with freshly ground black pepper and extra Parmesan if desired.
Notes
Warm tortillas for easier rolling. Use rotisserie chicken for quicker assembly.
