Ingredients

  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
  3. Stir in the chopped pecans and chocolate chips.
  4. Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 60–70 minutes, or until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool before slicing. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Tip: Avoid overbaking; the filling will firm up as it cools. For a crisper crust, blind-bake the crust for 8–10 minutes.
