Description

Delicious bite-sized treats with a creamy strawberry filling enrobed in rich dark chocolate, topped with a white chocolate drizzle.


Ingredients

  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons strawberry jam or puree
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup white chocolate chips (for drizzle)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Beat the cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add powdered sugar, strawberry jam, and vanilla; combine until fluffy.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment and scoop filling into balls.
  4. Freeze the balls for 30 minutes.
  5. Melt chocolate with coconut oil in the microwave or a double boiler.
  6. Dip each filling ball in the melted chocolate and return to parchment.
  7. Melt white chocolate and drizzle over dipped candies.
  8. Let candies set until firm, either at room temperature or in the refrigerator.
  9. Store in an airtight container.

Notes

For a vegan version, use dairy-free cream cheese and vegan chocolate. Keep in a cool, dry place to avoid chocolate bloom.
