- 2 ribeye steaks
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: Crushed red pepper, lemon zest
Instructions
- Let the steaks come to room temperature for about 30 minutes. Pat them dry and season generously with salt and pepper.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic, parsley, chives, thyme, and paprika. Stir to combine and cook for about 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
- Heat your grill or skillet over high heat until it’s scorching hot.
- Place the steaks on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until they reach your desired doneness.
- Remove the steaks from the heat and let them rest for a few minutes. Drizzle the cowboy butter over the steaks before serving.

For optimal flavor, use quality unsalted butter and fresh herbs. Avoid overmixing the cowboy butter.
