Ingredients

  • 4 ounces softened cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup fresh cranberries (or 1/2 cup cranberry sauce)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
  • Assorted crackers or sliced bread (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Bring the cream cheese to room temperature to soften.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the crumbled feta and softened cream cheese. Beat until smooth.
  3. Gradually add cranberries (or cranberry sauce), honey, lemon juice, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix until creamy.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness or acidity with more honey or lemon juice as needed.
  5. Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with chopped parsley.
  6. Serve immediately or chill for up to 2 hours before serving.

Notes

For a dairy-free/vegan version, substitute the feta and cream cheese with a blend of silken tofu and vegan feta, using agave in place of honey.
