- 1 cup fresh pineapple chunks
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 cup spinach (fresh or frozen)
- 1/2 cup coconut water
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)
- Ice cubes (optional)
Instructions
- Wash the spinach thoroughly and cut the pineapple into chunks. Peel the banana.
- In a blender, add the pineapple, banana, spinach, coconut water, and lemon juice.
- Blend on high speed until smooth. If you prefer a colder smoothie, add in a few ice cubes and blend again.
- Taste the smoothie and adjust the flavor as needed, adding honey for sweetness if desired.
- Pour the smoothie into glasses, and sprinkle chia seeds on top if desired. Enjoy immediately!
