Delightful Grinch Oreo Balls crafted from Red Velvet Oreos, coated in vibrant green chocolate. Perfect for holiday gatherings!


Ingredients

  • 1 package Red Velvet Oreos (22 cookies)
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 7 oz green candy melts
  • Red heart sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside.
  2. In a food processor, pulse the Red Velvet Oreos until fine crumbs form.
  3. Add the cream cheese and blend until a soft dough forms.
  4. Using a 1 tablespoon measuring spoon, scoop out the dough and roll it between your palms. Place it on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat until all dough is used.
  5. Chill the formed truffles in the freezer for about 30 minutes.
  6. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the green candy melts in 30-second increments, stirring in between. If the melts are too thick, add a 1/2 teaspoon of coconut oil or any unflavored oil and mix until smooth.
  7. Using a chocolate dipping fork, dip each truffle into the melted candy coating, allowing any excess to drip off. Return to the baking sheet.
  8. Transfer leftover candy melts into a piping bag and drizzle it over the truffles. Sprinkle on a red heart sprinkle to create the iconic Grinch heart.
  9. Allow them to set in the fridge for a few minutes, then enjoy!

Ensure the cream cheese is well-softened for smoother mixing. Don’t skip the chilling step; it helps maintain the shape during dipping.
