- 1 package Red Velvet Oreos (22 cookies)
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 7 oz green candy melts
- Red heart sprinkles
Instructions
- Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside.
- In a food processor, pulse the Red Velvet Oreos until fine crumbs form.
- Add the cream cheese and blend until a soft dough forms.
- Using a 1 tablespoon measuring spoon, scoop out the dough and roll it between your palms. Place it on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat until all dough is used.
- Chill the formed truffles in the freezer for about 30 minutes.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the green candy melts in 30-second increments, stirring in between. If the melts are too thick, add a 1/2 teaspoon of coconut oil or any unflavored oil and mix until smooth.
- Using a chocolate dipping fork, dip each truffle into the melted candy coating, allowing any excess to drip off. Return to the baking sheet.
- Transfer leftover candy melts into a piping bag and drizzle it over the truffles. Sprinkle on a red heart sprinkle to create the iconic Grinch heart.
- Allow them to set in the fridge for a few minutes, then enjoy!
