- 1 package cocktail sausages (about 12–16 mini sausages; ~12–16 oz / 340–450 g)
- 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed) OR 1 can refrigerated biscuit or crescent dough
- 1 large egg + 1 tsp water (for egg wash)
- Optional: sesame seeds or poppy seeds for topping
- Optional garnish/dips: grainy mustard, honey mustard, ketchup, barbecue sauce, cream cheese dip
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry or biscuit dough on a floured surface and cut it into small rectangles.
- Place a cocktail sausage at one end of each rectangle and roll it up, sealing the edges.
- Place the rolled sausages on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush each with the egg wash for a golden finish.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds or poppy seeds if desired.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 15–20 minutes, or until golden brown.
