Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package puff pastry sheets (2 sheets), thawed (about 17–18 oz total)
- 4 oz (113 g) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup (about 56 g) shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 jalapeños, finely chopped (reserve a few slices for garnish, optional)

- Place a spoonful (about 1–2 tablespoons) of the filling in the center of each square.
- Fold each square over into a triangle and crimp the edges together with a fork to seal.
- Place the turnovers on the baking sheet. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes until the turnovers are puffed and golden brown.
- Let cool for 3–5 minutes before serving.
