Indulge in layers of chocolate, coconut, and nuts with these easy-to-make Magic Cookie Bars, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 0.5 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 (14 ounce) can EAGLE BRAND® Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate morsels
  • 1.33 cups flaked coconut
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) or 325°F (165°C) for glass dishes. Coat a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  3. Mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until well combined and press into the bottom of the baking dish.
  4. Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the crust.
  5. Sprinkle with chocolate morsels, coconut, and nuts.
  6. Press toppings down firmly with a fork.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes until lightly browned.
  8. Cool completely before cutting into 36 bars or diamond shapes.
  9. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate morsels. Store bars at room temperature for up to 5 days or refrigerate for up to 7 days. They can be frozen for up to 3 months.
