Description
A fizzy tropical drink combining Dr Pepper, coconut cream, and blackberry syrup, perfect for late-night indulgence or summer gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 12 oz (355 ml) cold Dr Pepper
- 2 tbsp thick coconut cream (well-chilled)
- 1–2 tbsp blackberry syrup (homemade or store-bought)
- ½ tsp pure vanilla extract
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Fill a tall glass with ice cubes, leaving a little space at the top.
- Pour the cold Dr Pepper over the ice until about 3/4 full, pouring slowly to preserve carbonation.
- Drizzle in 1–2 tablespoons of blackberry syrup and watch it swirl and sink.
- In a small cup, mix the coconut cream with the vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the coconut cream mixture over the soda so it floats as a creamy layer on top.
- Stir gently with a straw or spoon to combine, or leave it layered for progressive sips.
- Enjoy immediately!
Notes
For variations, consider using different fruit syrups, adding rum for an alcoholic version, or using diet soda for a lighter treat. Serve chilled for the best texture.
