Description

A warm and comforting single-serve baked oats recipe that tastes like a chocolate chip cookie breakfast.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup milk of choice
  • 1 small ripe banana
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a ramekin.
  2. In a blender, combine the rolled oats, milk, banana, maple syrup, baking powder, vanilla, and salt. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture into the prepared ramekin.
  4. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top, pressing some into the batter.
  5. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes until edges are golden and center is set.
  6. Let cool for 1 minute and enjoy warm.

Notes

For a dairy-free option, use plant milk. Adjust the chocolate quantity to lower sugar/fat.
