Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups milk (whole or 2%)
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the pasta and milk to the pot, bringing it to a simmer.
  4. Cook the pasta according to package instructions, stirring often, until the pasta is al dente and the sauce has thickened (about 10 minutes).
  5. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

To prevent the pasta from sticking, stir periodically. Adjust sauce consistency by adding more milk if needed.
