- 2 cups vanilla ice cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- Whipped cream and chocolate syrup, for topping
- Extra Oreo cookies for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Crush the Oreos: Place the Oreo cookies into a thick freezer bag. Gently pound with a rolling pin until crushed to a mixture of fine crumbs and larger pieces.
- Blend the Ingredients: In a blender, combine the milk, vanilla ice cream, and the crushed Oreo cookies.
- Mix: Pulse a few times to start combining the ingredients, then blend until smooth. If desired, add vanilla extract for extra flavor.
- Adjust Consistency: Check the thickness of your milkshake. If it’s too thick, add a little more milk.
- Serve: Pour the milkshake into two tall glasses.
- Add the Toppings: Top with whipped cream, drizzle chocolate syrup over the top, and add a whole Oreo on the side.
- Enjoy Immediately: Serve with a straw and a spoon for the full experience.
Notes
For a thicker shake, use less milk or more ice cream. Experiment with different Oreo flavors for variety.
