Description
Deliciously warm and comforting cinnamon roll bites, perfect for cozy brunches or a quick treat.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (about 8 oz / 226 g)
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar (about 100 g)
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup (4 tablespoons) melted butter (about 57 g)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (about 60 g)
- 1 tablespoon milk (or more, to reach desired glaze consistency)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the crescent roll dough on a lightly floured surface and press together any perforations to create a solid sheet.
- Brush the melted butter evenly over the dough, leaving a small margin at the top edge.
- Mix together the brown sugar and ground cinnamon until well combined. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the buttered dough.
- Starting from the long edge, roll the dough tightly into a log. Slice the log into approximately 12 bite-sized pieces.
- Place the slices cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between them.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the bites are puffed and golden brown.
- Whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make the glaze.
- Remove the bites from the oven and allow them to cool for 3–5 minutes, then drizzle the glaze over the warm bites.
Notes
For best results, chill the log before slicing, and store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4–5 days.
