Description
Delicious sliders filled with savory roast beef and melted sharp cheddar cheese, perfect for gatherings or a quick meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 12 slider rolls (sweet or plain, based on preference)
- 1 pound deli-style roast beef, thinly sliced
- 8 slices sharp cheddar cheese
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Optional: sesame seeds or poppy seeds for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, melt the butter and stir in the garlic powder and Worcestershire sauce until combined.
- Without separating the rolls, slice them horizontally as a whole and place the bottom half in the prepared baking dish.
- Layer half of the cheddar slices evenly over the bottom half of the rolls.
- Layer all the roast beef evenly across the cheese.
- Add the remaining cheddar slices on top of the roast beef. Place the top half of the rolls over the filling, aligning edges.
- Brush the tops of the rolls with the melted butter mixture, coating evenly. Sprinkle sesame seeds or poppy seeds if using.
- Cover the dish tightly with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5–7 minutes, or until the tops are golden and the cheese is visibly melted.
- Let the sliders rest for 5 minutes, slice between rolls, and serve warm.
Notes
For a gourmet twist, add caramelized onions or horseradish. Don’t overstuff sliders to keep them manageable.
