A minty, creamy celebration in a glass, perfect for St. Patrick’s Day or nostalgic treats.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon mint extract
  • 4 drops green food coloring
  • Whipped cream (for topping)
  • 1 maraschino cherry (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients and chill the glasses for an extra-thick presentation, if desired.
  2. In a blender, combine 2 cups of vanilla ice cream and 3/4 cup of whole milk.
  3. Blend until smooth and creamy, stopping to scrape down the sides if necessary.
  4. Add 1/2 teaspoon of mint extract and 4 drops of green food coloring to the blender.
  5. Blend again until fully combined and evenly colored. Taste and adjust mint extract if needed.
  6. Pour the shake into two glasses.
  7. Top each shake with a generous swirl of whipped cream.
  8. Place a maraschino cherry on top of each shake.
  9. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Shakes are best enjoyed fresh. Avoid overblending to keep the texture thick and creamy.
