Description

Delicious and moist cake pops made from vanilla cake and coated with white chocolate, perfect for any celebration.


Ingredients

  • 1 box vanilla cake mix (follow package directions to bake the cake)
  • 1 cup frosting (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup white chocolate or chocolate melts (for coating)
  • Sprinkles (for decoration)
  • Lollipop sticks

Instructions

  1. Bake the vanilla cake according to package instructions and let it cool completely.
  2. Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl and mix in the frosting until well combined.
  3. Scoop out small portions of the cake mixture (about 1 to 1 1/4 tablespoon each) and shape them into balls. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment.
  4. Insert lollipop sticks into each ball about halfway.
  5. Freeze the cake pops for about 30 minutes to firm up.
  6. Melt the white chocolate or chocolate melts in a microwave-safe bowl in 20–30 second intervals, stirring between, until smooth. Keep warm.
  7. Dip each cake pop into the melted chocolate, ensuring complete coverage. Tap off excess coating.
  8. Immediately decorate with sprinkles before the coating sets.
  9. Place the finished cake pops upright in a styrofoam block or a cake pop stand to set completely.

Notes

For best results, keep the cake pops in a cool environment to prevent them from sliding off the sticks. Customize with different frostings or sprinkles for each occasion.
